ATTRACTIONS IN SILVERDALE

• Turn left out of Hawes Villa and walk 80 metres to access an extensive network of footpaths. Details of walks including easy access routes are available via the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape. ** Please note that dogs are not permitted on the Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve expcept on the public rights of way which are marked on the O/S maps.

• Leighton Moss RSPB, 1 mile.                

•  Leighton Hall, 3 miles.

• Silverdale Golf Course with restaurant and bar open to the public, 1 mile.

• Trowbarrow Nature Reserve, entrance 0.5 miles, rock climbing, mountain biking, walking.

  Paintmine Woods, 2 miles Paintball, Quadbikes, 4x4 Landrovers, Clay pigeon shooting. 

• There are  several fisheries for coarse fishing within a 5 mile radius. Please note that fishing, swimming and boating are not permitted on Hawes Water.

  The site is 1 mile from Silverdale Railway Station. The Silverdale Shuttle bus run a regular service to and from the station.
